Enduit nitrocellulosique transparent pour protéger les pièces métalliques ou étirer le papier de couchage sur les petits modèles.

Clear dope for bonding of covering papers and canvases and treatment of porous wood surfaces ("pore filler"). For application with brush or roller.

Use: Usually applied undiluted (if necessary, use KAVAN Thinner STANDARD); apply to the structure with a soft flat brush or roller. Immediately press and flatten the covering paper or canvas; remove any air bubbles with a brush or roller. Allow to dry for at least 24 hours and sand with 600–1000 grit fine sandpaper. When used on a model with an engine, a fuel-resistant topcoat must be applied (e.g., KAV56.9990 KAVAN Top Coat POLY, 5MA4401 RC Color clear spray paint).

Remove excess undried paint: A cloth or paper towel dampened with KAVAN Thinner STANDARD.

Dope thinning: the dope is supplied in concentrated form, depending on the need and method of application it can be diluted with KAVAN Thinner STANDARD in any ratio to achieve the optimal consistency for application. Due to the different composition of the dope and solvent components, we do not recommend using the KAVAN Thinner CLASSIC series.

Suitable for: model coating papers and textiles, e.g., vlies, covering canvases, balsa and other woods.

Not suitable for: materials not resistant to organic solvents (polystyrene foam, etc.).

Weight gain: 10ml of undiluted varnish adds about 0.8g to the weight of the model.

Storage: in a tightly closed container, in a cool, dry and dark place (at 15°C to 25°C / 59 °F to 77 °F). Do not expose to temperatures below 5°C and never to frost.

Shelf life: under proper storage conditions, we guarantee a shelf life of 1 year in the original unopened packaging while maintaining the above product properties.
